#1 – The Beta Cake
This is, arguably, the rarest item in SmallWorlds.
In December 2008, the original white birthday cake was sold in the SmallWorlds staffroom in error. SmallWorlds had mistakenly placed a purchase button on the cake when it was supposed to be for decoration only. The only people that had access to the cakse were the modeartors and helpers.

The story differs here slightly because some say one person others say a couple of people, but he/she/they bought a few and gave them away to very few players. Hours later, upon realising the error, SmallWorlds staff removed it from the staffroom. The few cakes that got out remained in world. Since that date, however, no more white birthday cakes were ever released.

#2 Safari Hat
On November 21st, 2013 SmallWorlds opened up the SmallWorlds Zoo. However, they were in need of more animals, so ran the first animal sculpting competition.

Players were asked to sculpt cool animals and were told they would received 5,000 gold. However the 5 winners also recieived the Play Safari Hat.

No more Safari Hats were released until the Fantasy Animal Sculpting contest on August 5th, 2014 where they gave out 5 more hats.

#3 – Snowfox Suit
The very first Monthly Wearable introduced to SmallWorlds on Monday, December 8th, 2008 was the Snow Fox. Only 270 of these wintery Foxes sold in world, making them the rarest, highest priced and most sought after wearable. In June 2010 the 2000 gold investment was at a staggering value of 1 million gold. On March 23rd, 2015, a Snow Fox was purchased by Harry Shotta & Chris Walker at a staggering 5 million pure gold!

#4 – Chinese Dragon Suit 2009
This fiery beast of a wearable was introduced on January 1st, 2009, in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The amount of Dragon suits sold more than doubled that of the Snow Fox with 584 entering in world.

On September 13th, 2010, smallworlds came up with a special promotion which ran for two weeks until september 27th. It was never sold in stores.
