The Merkins YouTube Channel makes parodies of famous songs. And it’s perfect for Halloween.
[wpsm_dropcap]T[/wpsm_dropcap]he Merkins is a YouTube channel created June of 2015 and has accumulated over 50 million views at the time of this post. The Merkins channel is a novelty account (of sorts), and primarily uploads parodies of songs using iconic slasher film lyrics which is perfect for Halloween.
You might recognize some pop-culture references on the channel. The Merkins have created their own boy-band called Slashstreet Boys which is a parody of the Backstreet Boys and consists of popular slasher-film characters like GhostFace from the Scream series and Jason from the… Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th.
